UPDATE
Chester parkrun is cancelled.
Unfortunately we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow. All paths are slippery tonight and we don't expect conditions to be any better in the morning.
Sorry for the disappointment.
Delamere, Wepre and Ellesmere Port are going ahead.

My guess is it'll come this week. We should carefully note those politicians and journalists who supported him over the last couple days, or made light of his attempt. Not a speck of national decency between the lot of them.
Johnson is a poison. Anyone with the barest sense of national responsibility or moral seriousness would be appalled by the mere sight of it. The fact his name is even mentioned is proof of a deep sickness in the Conservative Party. inews.co.uk/opinion/boris-joβ¦
The idea that the Tories are considering returning this man to No.10 is disgraceful but once again heβs all the media are talking about. We want this soap opera to stop. We want a serious government for these difficult times. #GeneralElectionsNow

Exactly this. Life goes on and events like these give communities the opportunity to come together and pay their respects. I suspect that what the queen would have wanted.
Why is cancelling everything respectful?
Why is going ahead with the fixtures so people can come together, have a minute's silence, play the national anthem and publicly pay their respects in a communal setting less respectful than cancelling everything?
