Hyderabad’s development should never become a victim of political games.
The @BJP4India and Union Minister Shri @kishanreddybjp garu must explain why the ₹1,400 crore financing for the 122-km Hyderabad Metro Phase-II has been delayed despite the Telangana Government fulfilling the required conditions. A project worth over ₹24,000 crore that will benefit millions of commuters should not be stalled for political reasons.
Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula garu has made it clear that if the Centre is unwilling to participate, Telangana is prepared to move ahead independently and bear the cost, seeking only the necessary approvals(NOC). There should be no obstacles to a project that will reduce congestion, improve connectivity, and drive Hyderabad’s future growth.
Every delay means higher costs, lost opportunities, and continued hardship for lakhs of daily commuters. The people of Telangana expect cooperation from the Centre, not obstruction.
I stand firmly with Hon'ble CM Shri Revanth Reddy garu in demanding that Hyderabad’s Metro Phase-II be allowed to proceed without further delay. Development must come before politics.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?
Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?
Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?
This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.
