XPG have arrived at Howtown for their first week of Yr 7- learning what crew means to them and how it will be the building block for learning and success for the rest of their time at high school! Not many students get to jump in a lake on their first day of Yr7! @OutwardBoundUK

Pupils have told @BBC_Cumbria they've gained new skills and experiences at @OutwardBoundUK, Ullswater.
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP @timfarron wants government to fund outdoor education for all.
Government says it's put £15m into outdoor learning for those in deprived areas.

I got to pop in and say hi to @OutwoodHaydock on their final morning this morning- one student told how he felt seeing a mountain for the first time in his life- in awe and inspired!
What an incredible week of adventure, new experiences and learning, we cant wait for next year!!
