Ealing removed its LTNs because of residents’ complaints that congestion and air quality had worsened on roads where their own monitoring data showed nothing of the sort. Car brains are addled af and the council is under no obligation to kowtow to their made up problems

The FB group cheering their removal lays bare their #motornormative thinking. Not concern for children's safety but "if a kid gets hurt we might be inconvenienced"

Jim Marshall was born in Acton #OTD 101 years ago. A young Peter Townshend used to call in at his music shop in Hanwell and encourage Jim to build better (louder, more distortion) guitar amps. Soon everybody followed.

We view this as a major test for @TfL and @activetraveleng. Both are aware of our concerns.
If they can't improve the proposed designs here, it raises significant questions about their abilities.
We should not be funding these types of projects.

Today, we have written to @EalingCouncil to strongly oppose its plans for cycle lanes on the Ealing Hospital section of the Uxbridge Road.
Why?
Because they’re dangerous and don’t follow @TfL and DfT guidance.
