#DisclosureDay — 10/10
Spielberg just made the greatest sci-fi film of all time!!
And I mean that.
Disclosure Day is the rare movie that delivers on every front — and then keeps going. Emily Blunt gives one of the best performances I’ve seen in years, the kind that makes you forget you’re watching an actor. The cinematography is stunning throughout, but that train scene in particular? Completely immersive. You stop being aware of the theater, the people around you, everything — it just pulls you in.
What separates this from every other alien movie is the writing. Every scene earns its place. The tension builds with purpose, the story never loses focus, and the ending sticks the landing in a way that genuinely made me want to go home and start researching. It’s the kind of ending that feels both emotionally satisfying and intellectually curious — a combination most films can’t pull off with one or the other.
And here’s what impressed me most: this movie works for everyone. Your beliefs, your background, your politics — none of it matters. Spielberg found something universal in this story, something genuinely human, and wrapped it inside one of the best sci-fi films ever made.
Go see it.
