I think one of the lasting cultural impacts of Covid is the self proclaimed 'internet-savvy people' being outed as naive sociopaths who actually struggle to cope with the existence of the internet.
the peak of covid psychosis was when people were convinced that a bo burnham musical comedy special was an important piece of art

The edgy 'schizo' guy is directly downstream of those people finding out that their encyclopedic knowledge of classic gore videos is neither interesting nor even particularly shocking to anyone in the out-group.

I don't think it can be understated just how much the world actively hated anything even vaguely artistic in the 2000s-2010s. We never had a chance.
sometimes its very soul crushing and you browse twitter for a bit to take a break and someone posts god tier art (they started drawing in 2021) (they are 15 years old)

My parents still think that a "graphic designer" is what you call an artist with a job.

Medieval backrooms is just a roguelike dungeon
Wouldโ€™ve the backrooms stayed the same or wouldโ€™ve it adjusted its architecture as time passed in the real world? Imagine it with roman pillars and bricks but somethings just unexplainably off

I bet they asked Gork to tell them who all the bots were and it just gave them a list of random users.

this was a failed sketch of something bigger I planned, was gonna scrap it but then thought "what if I downsample it to 500p and destroy it with a bunch of digital crap" and it ended up becoming something interesting
I think artists should do more to embrace Digital as a medium unique to itself rather than try to smooth off all the rough edges. Save in JPG, turn off the filtering, use all your blending modes, crank the sharpening, break it in notepad, do digital things with your digital art.

Why does modern military gear look so much worse than it did like 10-15 years ago? Honest question, I hate it and I can't figure out why.
