Okay, I've seen lots of discussion regarding the ideal party composition for D&D games, but how about Modern Horror campaigns? What's the ideal party for hunting abominations from beyond? I'm thinking; Cop, Medic, Priest, and Scholar.

'Declare' by Tim Powers
This is the third Tim Powers novel I have read and it might be his masterpiece. A little slow to set up, but it pays off. The fact that the author tied this to real people and events only makes it more incredible.

At some point, we're gonna need to exercise the Rainbow Six Option with these traitors.
Some of you may recall Tom Clancy's book Rainbow Six? Long story short, wacko environmentalists try to create a bug to exterminate mankind because "we harm the environment." Team Rainbow Six takes their compound in the Amazon, but knows the people involved won't be prosecutable and so will just try to do it again if let go.
So the team lead has them all stripped naked, the compound razed to the ground, and the wackos left to fend for themselves in the jungle.
So here, when this is all said and done, these traitors who import and support the importation of the Third World will need to be (metaphorically) stripped, have their power structure razed, and be sent to live with the third worlders they love so much, for however long they'll last there
