On battlefield specifically game and watch has tons of mixups using bucket movement and chef. I will die on this hill. It’s my favorite stage to play on because I get to actually be creative.
gnw really is the only char in this game with no sauce and no mix you press x move in y situation every single time and it works

I swear the drag down hits of nair at low percent from down throw have some utility, but I’m still labbing it out.

On flat stages like FD, fair becomes super useful as a mixup. It leads into simple and true kill confirms from center stage starting at like 40-50% on many characters. You can get a true sweet spot fsmash or simply dair past ledge because of fairs auto cancel window.

I’m optimistic about the future of smash. Many of the top, or up and coming, players are new faces that love the game. They are pushing the meta, finding new tech, and driving storylines. As long as there are fresh people who love competing, then the scene will continue on.

Playing a top tier character can be harder than picking a mid tier if you’re just starting out. Every person you fight has more experience against your character than you do against theirs. You have to outplay people more on average than just spamming your best moves to win.
