We're just a biological speculation
Sittin' here, vibratin'
And we don't know what we're vibratin' about
And the animal instinct in me
Makes me wanna defend me
It makes me want to live when it's time to die
Back in the funhouse with a #CrohnsDisease flare, handling with gust rest, IV fluids, and steroids. Reminder to drink water, manage stress, avoid trigger foods, and be mindful of folks who may be battling “invisible” illnesses.
Thanks to all for kind words and support. Pain swelling is down, yesterday’s CT still showed narrowing @ 9-yr old surgery site, NG tube staying, prepping for colonoscopy tomorrow to compare w/ what they saw two months ago. Great news is I drank broth for first food since Tues.
@VTechmeetsPaleo left us a fun puzzle and challenge: a rauisuchid maxilla eroding out of a sheer cliff 35’ in the air… (nobody tell OSHA, yet)… #fossilfriday
Printed a Revueltosaurus skull for some outreach this week. Once thought to be an early dinosaur, this friend is actually more closely related to crocs. Specimens from Petrified Forest NP were the first to determine this important discovery. #fossilfriday#triassicpark
~2018 I checked a waterline trench for fossils in PEFO’s backcountry and noticed a bone layer that I marked with a screwdriver. Yesterday I revisited the site and found my screwdriver, where I had nearly unknowingly nailed an in-situ dinosaur femur! #fossilfriday#triassicpark
Sometimes all you need is a small fragment of a fossil for an ID. This Desmatosuchus osteoderm preserves the anterior lamina and rough lateral margin unique to the aetosaur taxon. #fossilfriday#triassicpark
