IT'S TIME TO SAY NO. Industry wide action required NOW, these appalling restrictions cannot be allowed to continue.
so the lockdown sceptics were right it wasn't just 'restrictions until mass vaccination' Authoritarian restrictions are now normalised, with no end goal. There is nothing that will be different next year, or the year after. There will always be new variants.

I was fortunate enough to sample the @Stateofkindbre1 range over the w/e, a newish brewery producing fantastic beer. "Hello is it me you're looking for?" Is a delicious heavy hitter at 8.5% 🥊😳👍 "Take me back to Tokyo" Is 11% 🥊😎👌 They of course do sane strength beer too!

Shambolic. The industry has spent 10’s millions installing Perspex screens on the advice of the Government. Ministers are now being briefed that they did more harm than good, as it prevented airflow. I’ll file that with the 10pm curfew rule/clueless.

Head of UK hospitality industry sadly buying into the govt narrative that the (never-ending) delay in lifting restrictions is due to not enough people having had their 2nd jabs. In other words accepting idea freedom is dependent on vaccination rates. Hospitality is doomed.

Entirely frustrating to see brewers, pubs and bodies stumbling on and so few opposing these continued draconian measures, what will it take for you to do so?

Many pubs haven't even opened their doors since before Christmas, the ones that have many are hugely desperate for staff and there's still no industry wide action to set an enough is enough opening date.

Every time the sector shrugs its shoulders at dates being pushed we lose more stability, why would anyone apply for a job they're not confident in having 1/3/6 months down the line? It's only industry action that can bring this stability, not meekly waiting for diktats to end.
15 Jun 2021
Unsurprisingly once again another "freedom" Date slips by, not enough is being done from the industry to ensure it happens, stop asking and draw a line in the sand, they cannot stop everyone opening via organised industry action.

Stop waiting for permission and organise a sector wide opening date. They can't stop everyone opening up.
4 more weeks of restrictions will cost pubs £400 million ❗ There can be no further delays to full reopening 🙅‍♂️ Pubs must open properly on July 19th 🔓 Financial support is also now needed to see our pubs through to the end of the year 💰

They'll just do another whacky stunt now and release a beer called "the fear" or "constructive dismissal"
Dozens of former Brewdog staff have signed the letter accusing company bosses of fostering fear in their workers. ow.ly/FmwY50F792r

Now that Punch and other big players are finally caught up it's about time they came out and drew the line in the sand, enough is enough, they can't stop everyone opening up as normal via co-ordinated industry action June 21st.
You either draw a line under this now or we face restrictions for the foreseeable future. It won’t just be another 2-4 weeks, anyone that thinks they mean that is very naive. They haven’t kept one promise, something will always come up. 21/6/21 is the line in the sand for most.

Easily one of my favourite beers this year, superb. These are available at a lot of co-ops, my local is 2 for £4
Today is Archer-tastic! Brewing Archer for cask, transferring Archer to CT and sending Archer for bottling! What a weird coincidence that it all happens today. #lincolngreen #backlocalbeer #here4indiebeer

Industry wide action required, stop asking for permission, open up en-mass and soon.

The lack of industry action has been massively damaging, not only for the pubs who've gone under, but even in the unlikely event of pubs re-opening without restrictions end of June, this lack of action means there's no deterrent to government closing pubs down en masse in future.

Still no permission from the Judge. A decision WILL come this week. Granted or not, we will finally be able to legally share the "evidence" the Government are trying to use against Hospitality. You will then see why we are fighting.

I cannot believe either of them have the brass neck to show themselves in public at all, let alone try to purchase a drink in a pub.

Well done to that Pub Landlord. Every Landlord should ban every Politician and Sage members from their pubs and restaurants up and down the Country for what they’ve done to the hospitality industry.

Rod Humphris, 54, told PA he kicked Sir Keir Starmer out of his pub because he "failed to ask the questions that needed asking" about the pandemic. “Why have we just accepted lockdown?" he said. “Why have we just accepted the loss of all our freedoms?”
