The outcome: MSTT structure has been established, indeed, the Democratic processes unfolded and produced innocent pensioners and other community members who can hardly understand the responsibilities of MSTTs.Surely, the electoral system must be changed. We only hope for the best

Currently: Sekhukhune region is holding a community meeting at the Bantwane tribal offices to elect water committee structure that will represent 8 villages, minister Chunu pumped in more than R1bln for water project. People still need accountability for R143m that went lost.

Today minister mchunu visits Moutse on water project, this community has not known clean water since from the apartheid era till today 2022,it's unfortunate that this office didn't invite NCDF as a stake holder.It's a disregard and can't be accepted DWS_RSA

We then got hold of your DDG who has been insisting that the minister will only honour the meeting request if the committee makes SANCO to be part of the team that will sit with the minister. As NCDF,we need to know if this is procedural that we must be compelled to have SANCO...

In this region we have had water crisis ever since the dawn our democracy. R143m brought in by the previous minister you succeeded went to the pockets of the individual without accountability, and we are told we cannot sit with you unless SANCO agreed to be part?

The SIU report acquitted Sekhukhune water management from any wrong doing, this is after NCDF reported about corruption and wrong awarding of tenders. The NCDF submitted all the evidence to its legal team for further advises before releasing public statement to refute the finding

The NCDF will produce all substantive evidence to support the claim. It's unfortunate that SIU did not look into the holistic approach to the NCDF submission. How the SIU interrogate and investigate a matter appears to be questionable. NCDF will challenge the report.
