2 months ago from today, the old AR mode was removed and replaced by AR . It remains unknown why Niantic removed old AR mode entirely, instead of keeping it in the game and allowing players to choose between AR or AR . There would effectively be *more* AR in the game if they did that. This change has ruined catch grinding. I mean no exaggeration when I say this. It’s now 30% to 50% slower to fast catch Pokémon. I love this game and the community. I’ve caught 2.4 million Pokémon. I used to stream my catch grind everyday and it was my favorite thing to do. The last 2 months have not been fun. I barely play anymore. Please, either bring back the old AR mode as an option or accelerate the speed of regular mode. If Pokémon GO is a game centered around community, then it is essential to be inclusive of community members that have enjoyed catching Pokémon with AR mode for years. @NianticLabs @NianticHelp @MichaelSteranka @MxKestrel #PokemonGO
