With the fall of the Assad regime, and the dismantling of the SDF structure and its practices in northeastern Syria over the past years, it has become very clear that ISIS operations have significantly declined across Syria.
This is just one simple piece of evidence among thousands showing that the new Syrian state is the most capable actor in confronting these extremist organizations, backed by more than 11 years of experience and a deep understanding of the mindset of radical groups.
