Minimized swelling in silicon-rich electrodes. Silicon anodes can dramatically increase battery energy density, but their large volume expansion often leads to rapid degradation of the battery. TUBALL™ single wall carbon nanotubes create a robust conductive network that keeps silicon particles connected during cycling, reducing anode swelling from up to 160% to approximately 20% and helping extend battery life. A Pollock artwork just sold for $150 million at @ChristiesInc . Meanwhile, our scientists have been looking at similar patterns of carbon nanotubes under SEM microscopes for years without realizing they were sitting on a fortune. SEM art collection available. Superior nanotube dispersion to Pollock’s. Slightly cheaper than Christie’s. DM us.

[💡R&D] TUBALL SWCNTs support advanced fast-charging silicon battery architecture. Researchers from POSTECH, @seoulnatuniv_rp and @LG_ensol developed a LiF-engineered SiO anode that achieved 1,000 cycles at 2C fast charging and pouch-cell energy density up to 1,125 Wh L⁻¹. The TUBALL network provided efficient electron transport and reinforced electrode integrity under the severe volume changes typical for silicon-based materials. Are all carbon nanotubes the same? 🤔 Not quite. They come in different forms—multi-wall, few-wall, and single wall. And that is why not all carbon nanotubes deliver the same performance. Thanks to their unique one-layer structure, single wall carbon nanotubes are long and highly flexible, with a high aspect ratio and exceptional intrinsic mechanical and electrical properties. They are able to form a widespread, homogeneous, and stable 3D conductive network within materials at ultralow dosages. This makes it possible to create colorful or transparent conductive products with improved performance and durability. Learn more on SWCNTs: tuball.com/about-tuball?utm_… #SWCNT #MWCNT #FWCNT #CNT

[📷R&D] What if concrete could warn you before it cracks? Smart concrete powered by single wall carbon nanotubes that turn ordinary fibers into ultrasensitive sensors has been created by researchers from the Institute of Construction Materials at @tudresden_de . The nanotubes build a conductive network that reacts instantly to damage—amplifying signals by up to 100,000% as cracks grow. The result: concrete that doesn’t just carry loads but actively monitors itself—bringing a new level of safety to bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
