The road has buckled at 1400 Washington Blvd. UDOT is en route however, notice to the public, traffic will be heavily congested in this area for an undetermined amount of time due to only one available northbound lane.

All students are safe. The school is being searched and precautions are in place. Updates will follow.

Had a great time connecting with students at the OPA Career Day. We talked about SWAT, K9, traffic, and more. We also showed them our vehicles, kicked around a soccer ball, and highlighted the many different ways to serve in law enforcement.

The OPD Investigations Bureau will be giving a media update on the shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Porter Avenue last night. The update will take place in the lobby of the Ogden Police Department at 10:00 AM. It will be recorded and posted for those unable to attend.

On 1-9-20 at approximately 9:52pm an adult male in his 20s was found in the area of 300 Jefferson Ave. with one gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
