A historic Joint-Declaration of the Nama and Ovaherero people, led by Gaob Frederick and PC, Adv Rukoro, revisiting the 1858 Hoachanas sacred Pact on good neighborliness and commitment to march together, was signed today in Hoachanas to reaffirm those ideals a 163 years later!

Ovaherero and Nama groups who are unhappy with the genocide negotiations between Namibia & Germany plan to approach the UN and label Germany a war criminal unless the country enters negotiations with ‘the true leaders of the victim communities’. More about it in today’s edition.
