OKFAHC supports Governor Stitt’s veto of SB 1500 and encourages lawmakers to uphold the veto. Oklahoma patients deserve access to cost-saving tools and discount programs that help lower prescription costs at the pharmacy counter. Policies that limit those options risk increasing costs for families and reducing access to affordable medications. As healthcare affordability continues to challenge Oklahoma families, we believe protecting consumer access to lower-cost prescription options should remain a priority.

💙 This Mother’s Day, I’m especially grateful for my mom. She was a single mom who worked full-time and still showed up for everything. She is one of the hardest working people I know. I remember her making sure we got to every doctor’s appointment, picking up our prescriptions when we were sick, and quietly worrying about how to make everything fit in the budget.
