As Africa Cup of Nations 2027 draws closer, we are stepping preparations to host the tournament.

This will strengthen healthcare services and sports infrastructure ahead of the tournament.

This evening, I joined staff in @OPMUganda for our twice-a-month physical exercise at the Nakasero Primary School playground.
This physical exercise programme follows a Cabinet directive requiring Ministries, Departments and Agencies to conduct physical exercise sessions for their staff to combat lifestyle diseases.

The Prime Minister urged the participants to exercise their bodies regularly to combat non- communicable diseases and support overall wellbeing.
The Premier and the team walked from the @OPMUganda premises in Kampala to Nakasero Primary School playground, where they engaged in other cardiovascular workouts.

Today, Rt. Hon. Prime Minister @R_Nabbanja brought together relevant Ministers and Members of Parliament from Lango, Acholi and Teso to review the progress of the ongoing cattle restocking programme in these sub-regions.
The PM urged Members of Parliament to mobilise the local governments in the three sub-regions to expedite the selection of the beneficiary households to ensure the successful conclusion of the first phase of the programme before the end of this financial year.
She commended the best-performing local governments in beneficiary household selection and urged others to double their efforts as the end of the financial year approaches.
