Good morning opnetards. a few important updates one could view as bad but I choose to view as funny lore.
1. Claim process was fucked (blame Bob not me)
My claim process was not air tight. I have users send a test btc transaction, but unless the wallet has made a txn on opnet (op20, op721, etc) then their op20 MLDSA wallet is not known. Just btc txn is not enough.
Result of this is that some claims have been sent to wrong addresses and are unrecoverable lol. Im auditing impact right now, it's up to 17.6m $optard effectively burned (1.7%).
I will re-airdrop impacted people and it will come out of 500m incentive pool. Also fixing claim process now. Think of this as being un-dilted a bit!
2. I accidentally locked 500m lp incentives until April 21
I wont be able to do much LP incentives with that 500m right away because it's accidentally locked away until April 21. I can recover it after that.

Two weeks ago Bitcoin DeFi was a thesis.
Today it's $30M TVL and an entire ecosystem of tokens, protocols, and tools building on Bitcoin.
Each of these projects chose to ship on L1 because the infrastructure finally let them.
This is what we built OP_NET for.
