Speaking at the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis, Strategic Action Plan/National Action Plans Review regional meeting held in Centurion, Water Resources Specialist, Rapule Pule acknowledged the significant progress which has up to now been made in the review and the updating
of the TDA, the NAPs and the SAP. "These will go a long way in contributing into the review and the updating of the current "2015-2024 IWRM Plan" , particularly it's environmental sustainability pillar as way to start the development of another ten year (2025-2034) IWRM Plan".
ORASECOM welcomes new head, Executive Secretary – Molosiwa
The transboundary river basin organisation of four countries, ORASECOM welcomes the new chief accounting officer & Secretariat head, Executive Secretary (ES), Mr Comfort Molosiwa, a national of the Republic of Botswana
He emphasized the importance of sustained engagement from the commissioners and called upon them to collaborate in overcoming obstacles, especially in expediting the completion of feasibility studies for the Lesotho-Botswana Water Transfer Project.
ORASECOM was formed to among others promote equitable & sustainable development of resources of Orange-Senqu River. ORASECOM provides a forum for consultation & coordination between riparian states to promote integrated water resources management and development within the basin
