TRCI's Harvest Party! Attendees enjoyed picking and painting pumpkins, decorating cookies, and sipping themed drinks from Common Grounds Coffee, which was a big hit. There were picture opportunities and bags of treats the families could take home along with their pumpkins.

TRCI celebrated the Grand Opening of its new Behavioral Health Unit. This Unit marks a significant step forward in TRCI’s commitment to providing comprehensive, accessible care for all AICs, supporting both their physical and mental health needs in a safe and private environment.

The Oregon State Penitentiary hosted a special Halloween Event, called “Pick or Treat.” AICs were able to celebrate Halloween in the OSP visiting room with their children. The feature prop was a Frankenstein with surprises in his nose! The kids and dads had a great time!

SRCI hosted a celebration to recognize 24 GED graduates, 4 graduates of the Building Construction Technology, and 1 Cabinetry Apprenticeship graduate. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a delicious taco bar and cupcakes, making it a fun opportunity to catch up and celebrate.

The AICs from WCCF Transitional Community Unit came together to celebrate the end of summer with their annual appreciation BBQ. Together, staff and AICs took part in preparing a delicious spread. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good food and good company. #DOC #WCCF

OSP Religious Services hosted its Annual Powwow with the Indigenous Circle Population and Lakota Oyate-Ki Club. Open to all, including staff, AICs, outside guests, and @SheriffReese, the event featured traditional dancing, singing, food, and arts and crafts. #DOC #OSP

Santiam Correctional Institution had 11 AICs graduate with their GED last Friday! This accomplishment was celebrated with support from staff and visiting families who came together to watch the class of 2024 graduate.

WCCF participated in the dodgeball tournament held by the local high school. WCCF Correctional Officers E. Walters, B. Naranjo, T. Mungarro, ISM Abston, and 3 of his children represented the facility as The Dodgefathers. They brought home 3rd place! #DOC #WCCF
