Gas from the new Eirin field is now flowing to Poland via the Baltic Pipe. ORLEN Upstream Norway, in partnership with Equinor, has commenced production from the North Sea field that will deliver 270 mcm of gas per year. ORLEN's total share in the Eirin reserves amounts to 1.2 bcm – enough to power Warsaw's Żerań combined heat and power plant, which supplies approximately a quarter of the capital's district heating demand, for two years.

Representatives of the ORLEN Group attended WindEurope in Madrid, one of the most important annual events dedicated to offshore wind energy. The conference provided an opportunity to discuss the sector's development trajectory and the role offshore wind can play in Europe's energy transition. Panel discussions highlighted Poland's ambitious offshore wind development plans and the importance of a comprehensive approach to investment – from project delivery to building expertise and infrastructure. A key theme was also the need to strengthen the European supply chain as a critical element in developing a competitive and secure energy system in Poland and Europe.

ORLEN has expanded its LNG transport capacity with the addition of two new vessels to its LNG carrier fleet. Each vessel can transport approximately 70,000 tonnes of liquefied natural gas per voyage – equivalent, after regasification, to the average weekly consumption of all households in Poland.

ORLEN Upstream Norway and partners have discovered a new gas and condensate field in the North Sea. Named Frida Kahlo, the field will be developed from the existing Sleipner B platform, which means that first gas deliveries from the new field will reach Poland via the Baltic Pipe pipeline within a few weeks.

More than ten years ago, the first delivery of liquefied natural gas arrived at the LNG terminal in Świnoujście. This coincides with the 10th anniversary of the first American LNG shipments to Europe. Over the past decade, ORLEN has consistently strengthened the Polish–American energy partnership. 🇵🇱 🇺🇸 2025 was a record year, with the ORLEN Group receiving a total of 81 LNG cargoes, of which as many as 62 originated from the United States. 👉 On Saturday, representatives of the National Energy Dominance Council (NEDC) at the White House, the US Embassy in Poland, the Ministry of Energy, ORLEN, and Gaz-System toured the Świnoujście terminal. The site visit provided an opportunity to take stock of our collaboration and deepen a partnership that enhances the energy security of Poland and Europe. The NEDC delegation was led by Jarrod Agen, Executive Director of the NEDC and Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States. He was joined by Wojciech Wrochna (Secretary of State at the Ministry of Energy), Przemysław Ciszak (Chair of the ORLEN S.A. Supervisory Board), and Robert Soszyński (Vice President of the ORLEN S.A. Management Board, Operations). Together with the other members of the delegation, they toured the LNG terminal and the moored Ignacy Jan Paderewski, one of ORLEN's eight gas carriers, which transports LNG from the United States. 👉 Strong ties, the growing integration of gas markets in Central and Eastern Europe, and access to global LNG supply are unlocking new opportunities. Demand for flexible LNG solutions is rising markedly, and the Poland–Ukraine gas corridor is gaining in importance. The figures confirm this: contracted gas volumes shipped along this route since April last year will have reached 750 mcm by the end of this quarter. 👉 In Poland, LNG now accounts for more than half of total gas imports. ORLEN has also booked 100% of the regasification capacity at the FSRU terminal under construction in Gdańsk Bay. We anticipate the number of LNG deliveries to Poland will increase in the coming years.
