The most incredible and wonderful thing: to write a book and learn that it helped inspire a fabulous album of Uzbek Disco, Tajik Folktronica, Uyghur Rock & Tatar Jazz from 1980s Soviet Central Asia. It is my album of the year - hands down. Fantastic tunes !
