Hot take: MLB rushed the A’s out of Oakland for a Vegas deal that still doesn’t add up. Costs ballooning, funding unclear (and unproven) and fans were told this was “certain.” That’s not a plan. That’s a gamble. Now is the time to demand accountability.

Every ticket purchased in Sacramento or Las Vegas sends the same message to ownership and MLB: Relocation works. Fans can be abandoned. Communities can be discarded. Decades of loyalty can be ignored. And as long as people keep showing up, owners will keep using the same playbook over and over again. If you truly care about the future of sports, take a stand. Stop rewarding relocation. Stop rewarding greed. The only reason owners keep fleecing fans is because they know enough people will accept it. #FansFirstMovement #HoldMLBAccountable

Relocation survives because enough people are willing to look the other way. Owners see attendance. They see merchandise sales. They see revenue. What they don't see is accountability. That's why this cycle keeps repeating.

Congress is out playing baseball while remaining silent on the fact that Major League Baseball still enjoys a unique antitrust exemption that allows it to operate like a legal monopoly. Fans lose teams. Workers lose jobs. Communities lose decades of history. Yet the one league with special treatment from the federal government continues to avoid meaningful scrutiny. Say it ain't so. #EndTheExemption

A congressional baseball game is fun. Congressional oversight of MLB's antitrust exemption would be even better. ⚾️👀 #EndTheExemption #FansFirstMovement

Major League Baseball will spend the coming years celebrating the history of the A’s franchise in an attempt to legitimize the relocation. But honoring the past does not excuse what happened in the present. The reality is that this move was manufactured through years of leverage, shifting demands, and a process that left fans, workers, and an entire community behind. Celebrating the history while ignoring how that history was severed is not accountability. If MLB truly respects the legacy of the Athletics, it should be willing to answer tough questions about how one of baseball's most historic franchises was removed from the East Bay. Until then, the story remains incomplete. #FansFirstMovement #HoldMLBAccountable #OaklandForever

Nothing says "everything is fully funded" quite like hosting Investor Day at the stadium site. The desperation for investors is getting harder and harder to ignore. 😂😂😂
Out for a walk ahead of tonight’s game in Las Vegas and got a great look at the new A’s ballpark being built!

Remember when lawmakers were told this ballpark would be an economic slam dunk with endless demand? Tonight the A's begin play in Las Vegas, tickets remain available, and the stadium site is hosting Investor Day. The contrast speaks for itself. #FansFirstMovement

LOL. The A's start in Las Vegas tonight and I just received ANOTHER marketing email saying tickets are still available for all games. So much for the "unlimited demand" narrative that helped secure public subsidies. What a scam! #StadiumScam
The A's play in Las Vegas this week, and tickets are still available. Remember when Jeremy Aguero and Steve Hill went before the Nevada Legislature seeking hundreds of millions in public subsidies for a billionaire-owned stadium? They sold lawmakers on the idea that demand would be so overwhelming the ballpark would effectively sell out for 30 years. Yet the A’s can’t even sell out their own minor league stadium… Taxpayers were asked to take the risk. The people making the promises never had to. Call it what you want, but it’s a #StadiumScam!

Stadium subsidy advocates always tell the same story: endless demand, guaranteed sellouts, economic windfalls. Then reality arrives. Fans deserve facts, not projections designed to unlock public money. #FansFirstMovement

There comes a time when fans have simply had enough. Stop ruining our sports, our communities, and our love of the game for greed and profit. Teams may own the franchises, but they do not own our loyalty. The time for fans to stand up is now. #FansFirstMovement

Every fan base has more in common than they realize. Today it's Oakland. Yesterday it was Montreal. Tomorrow it could be your team. This movement is bigger than baseball. It's about protecting the bond between teams, cities, and the fans who make sports possible. #FansFirstMovement

We are witnessing sports teams fleece cities for taxpayer money, or simply leave when they don't get it. That is not what sports is about. Sports are supposed to unite communities, create memories, and give fans something to believe in. Instead, too many owners treat cities like bargaining chips and fans like leverage. The entitlement is staggering. Enough excuses. Enough threats. Enough public subsidies for private profit. Stand up. Speak out. Organize. Hold elected officials accountable. Demand better from leagues and owners. Sports belong to the fans and communities that built them. Enough is enough. #FansFirstMovement

This is what happens when greedy billionaires and sports owners don’t want to pay for things themselves. And for Indiana, @braun4indiana just gave away the farm with your tax dollars. Indiana will fail at this longterm. What an embarrassing franchise. #bears

Breaking: The Bears’ Board of Directors voted Thursday to advance the stadium development in Hammond, Indiana. “There is more work to do, but barring anything very strange, it’s a done deal,” one source told @AdamSchefter.

Imagine if fans had the same influence as billionaire owners. No relocation threats.
No stadium subsidy shakedowns.
No backroom deals. Just accountability. The future of sports should belong to the people who actually fill the seats, buy the merchandise, and pass teams down through generations. #FansFirstMovement

For too long, fans have been treated as customers instead of stakeholders. Teams ask for loyalty, public support, and taxpayer dollars. Yet when major decisions are made, fans are often the last people consulted. That needs to change. #holdMLBaccountable

Fans across America are told they should be grateful just to have a team. Then ownership threatens relocation, demands public money, and expects communities to fall in line. Enough. Sports teams belong to the people who support them, not just the billionaires who own them. Join the #FansFirstMovement and help change the future of American sports.

From Oakland to Tampa Bay, from Anaheim to Chicago, fans are seeing the same playbook. The good news? Fans have more power than they realize. Organize. Speak out. Hold ownership accountable. Real change starts when fans stand together.
