APPROVED FOOTBALL PROPOSALS 🏈 ◉ Any school program intending to participate in a summer team camp must follow acclimatization rules prior to participating in fully-padded activities, either prior to the camp or at the camp. VOTE 11-0 ◉ Season Regulations & Playoff Eligibility for 8 & 11-Player: Schools submit their football schedule to the WIAA by May 1. Any nonconference game cancelled after June 15th would be considered a forfeit for PQS points; games cancelled by non-mutual agreement would result in a forfeit. Any non-conference game dropped or cancelled prior to June 15 would be considered a no-contest when calculating the team's PQS score. VOTE 11-0 ◉ Conference games that are not played will be recorded as forfeits. (1) If a team replaces the unplayed game and loses the replacement game, the forfeit win will be applied for conference points. (2) If the team wins the replacement game, the more favorable points outcome—either the replacement game win or the originally scheduled game forfeit—will be applied, if mathematically possible. VOTE 11-0 ◉ For seeding and Regional alignment, The #1 and #4 ranked 1-seed teams will be organized into one state semifinal half of the bracket, and the #2 and #3 ranked 1-seed teams will be organized into the opposite state semifinal half of the bracket. VOTE 10-1 ◉ The host team shall wear home jerseys in Levels 1, 2, and Sectionals. For all state-level games, jersey color and sideline assignments will be determined by PQS standings, with the higher seed wearing the home jersey color and being assigned the home sideline.
