Fantastic week for The Oaks Eco/Gardening team this week. Our whole school eco day on Monday was amazing, @AlistairCarns visiting today was great and we submitted our final application for @EcoSchools Green Flag Award! What a week!

Straight to work this morning, and can’t imagine better company to start this new journey than with the exceptional team at The Oaks Primary School in Druids Heath. Energising and uplifting to meet some of these kids, their outstanding teachers, and hear about their gardening club. This kind of teaching and opportunity in the early years can make all the difference in empowering young people for success in life. Today was No Pen Day at the Oaks! πŸ–ŠοΈ βœ–οΈ Year 6 decided make human place value charts and represent numbers! It involved plenty of movement as they were multiplying these numbers by 10, 100 and 1000 so the numbers and place value kept changing! Great teamwork! πŸ’ͺ🏻
