Barnsley scored 83 goals in all competitions last season. David McGoldrick contributed 18, Davis Keillor-Dunn added 16, and Adam Phillips chipped in with 11. If Phillips completes his move to Bradford City, that's 45 goals walking out of the door. Replacing players is one thing. Replacing over half of your goals is something else entirely. For me, it's not just about bringing bodies in. It's about finding players capable of delivering consistent end product over a full season. Goals are the hardest currency in football, and Barnsley are potentially losing a huge amount of them in one summer. Daniel Stendel's football should create chances, but somebody still has to put the ball in the net.
