COVID 19 Statement
OBADO is following Government guidelines and as a result, the physical building is currently closed. However the OBADO team is continuing to contact individual members and families by telephone, offering support, advice and a friendly ear.

At OBADO through shared meals, games, dance, conversations, exercise, etc, participants strengthen social bonds and combat isolation, while affirming identity, their wellbeing and dignity. ❤️❤️

. It strengthens their hand - eye cordination, grip control and helps to mantain sensor skills. 👇🏾

Older people enjoy playing a popular cultural board game known by different names in different parts of África for example; Oware in Ghana, Ayo in Nigeria, Omweso in Uganda and Warri in the Caribbean. It improves older people's focus😊👏🏾
