“If you’re not working hard, ideas don’t matter. The best idea is worthless without execution. If you’re already working hard, ideas are crucial. Most effort is wasted on mediocre ideas.” - James Clear

Jane Austen doesn’t lecture us about human nature; she dramatizes it. Through characters who learn (or refuse to learn) from experience, her novels illuminate how ideas shape choices, how self-deception derails judgment, and what moral growth looks like in real life. In this talk, Angel Werth @AngelicaWerth will explore key characters from Austen’s novels to show how great fiction can sharpen our ability to read people accurately, and how we can use that clarity to navigate and improve our relationships. What can Austen teach you about the people in your life? Find out at LevelUp.

Great sex isn’t something you stumble into. It’s something you develop by working to understand yourself, your needs, and those of your partner. It requires thoughtful introspection, radical self-acceptance, and honest communication. In this talk, Dr. Morse will explore the elements of “Sexual Intelligence,” including how to clarify your needs and desires, communicate them with confidence to a partner (or potential partner), and create a sex life you’ll love. Join Emily Morse @SexWithEmily at LevelUp this year in Chicago!

Explore the power of individuality in Ayn Rand’s Anthem. The author depicts a future society where the word “I” has been erased, independence is treated as a sin, excellence is punished, and virtue means obedience, conformity, and self-sacrifice. In this reading group, instructor Matheus Pacini will lead a deep dive into independence, collectivism, and what it means to think for yourself. The course starts on June 2, 2026, with weekly live sessions on Tuesdays from 12:00–1:30pm PT. Sessions are interactive on Zoom, and full recordings will be available if you can’t attend live. PS: We offer scholarships for students and young adults aged 29 and under! 🧑🏻‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓
