Thereโs money in the WEB3 space, (MILK WHAT YOU CAN)
I didnโt make up to 2000$ from web3 in the whole of last year but this year something changed.
I began my web3 journey around 2023 but I didnโt take it seriously until late 2024/2025 the excuse I had was I didnโt have a good device to use.
But then I managed to save up a little amount to get a Samsung device and yet things remained the same probably got worse sef.
Those times I bought several courses but didnโt study any of them cus I was lazy and nonchalant about them
The problem - I didnโt have a driving force.
It went on and on till a particular day when I had a psychic shift and that was due to the fact that I knew what the problem is already
Thereโs a saying โOnce youโve identified the problem then the solution is just around the corner.โ
But then it was a temporary solution I had, not really a driving force but an inferiority complex and a need to conquer it.
It can also be said to be the fourth need according to Abraham Maslow
Esteem need. The inferiority complex creeped in cus this need wasnโt met.
So I had to solve that by getting serious with the grind and with life itself.
I had little progress that taught me hard work pays, this was around 2025 already
Imagine the gap and the time Iโve wastedโฆ regardless I continued and this year ive been able to milk some little funds from web3 jobbing through offering seamless and top notch service to different projects earning me over 2000$ within few months.
These are some of the things that I implemented and worked;
The Value first strategy - works like magic,
Quit begging for roles!!!
Start becoming visible instead, showing that your presence matters in a project would make the dev notice you and impossible to ignore and eventually they'd reach out.
Most of the project Iโve worked with of recent I didnโt reach out first, instead I showed value, spoke on their spaces answered questions engaged actively in their community and boom! I got noticed.
The dev asked me can I do This and this and I said yes I can, and from there a paying deal was sealed
Educative Content - this is when you have substantial amount of knowledge about the project already thereby moving on to making enlightening and educative posts about the project
Once I understood a project
I wrote threads, explainers and simple breakdowns not for clout but for clarity that totally positioned me as someone useful
And in Web3....
Usefulness gets paid.
3. Strategic Visibility
Youd hear it a lot from people that its not about working hard , its about working smart...lol
Well you can actually work smart and not be seen.
Make sure you're seen, when founders notice you.... you can somehow powerful:
Leverage, and leverage?
Thats power in the hands of someone who wield it well.
4.The Problem Identification Strategy - One thing you need to understand about Web3 projects:
No project is perfect, There is always a loophole, a weak point.
A silent problem theyโre either openly addressingโฆ or quietly struggling with behind the scenes.
Sight this example;
Donโt just approach a dev and say,
I noticed this problemโฆ
Thatโs too basic dawg..lol
Anyone can complain, every jobber has one or two complaints to give the project
Insteadโฆ
Diagnose. Then position. (Think beyond the box)
Show them you understand the problem deeply.
Then drop a hint of a solution.
Not everything ohhh,
Enough to make them think:
โThis guy sees what others donโtโฆโ
Because the moment a founder believes you understand their problem and can contribute to solving it
Youโre no longer just another community member.
You become an asset.
....and hereโs the key:
Donโt expose your full play.
Just give them a glimpse.
Let them come to you for the rest.
Thatโs how you turn insight into opportunity.
Thatโs how you create leverage.
And in Web3, even in life?
Leverage is everything.
