In kh2 the triangle button is for reaction commands only pretty much, so they don’t get in the way of any combat if yo don’t wanna use it. Attractions are on the same button that is used for finishers, limits, and form changes. It gets in the way of MAIN mechanics
People will say that KH3 attractions ruin the flow of the combat (which you can cancel or finish immediately) but then gas up KH2 reaction commands that put you into an unskippable cutscene and completely take control of the game away from you.
I can’t tell you how annoying it was first couple playthroughs to accidentally get an attraction, ESPECIALLY when I just wanted to open a fucking chest outside of fucking combat
one thing im worried about in KH4 is how they will balance all these characters, there are actually so many that will have a role and it feels kinda overwhelming

Makes no sense on how people like the off screen snipes bc it makes you “react and position better” as if kh3 doesn’t have an automatic position button with airstep, it’s the game where positioning matters the least by far
