The report was collaboratively developed with OECM practitioners and national expert teams to assist contracting parties to the Nairobi Convention in leveraging OECMs as a complementary tool to existing area-based conservation measures

#OOC11 opens today in Mombasa 🇰🇪
Pre-conference events begin this morning at PrideInn Paradise Beach, with the Scientific and Research Symposium and the Executive Business and Investment Forum.
The main conference runs 16–18 June, bringing together governments, institutions, scientists and community leaders across seven plenaries.
