* Oceanside Municipal Golf Course is under an evacuation order.
* A fire evacuation warning is imminent for Genasys Protect zones 0427, 0429, 0317, and 0372.
Fire crews are making progress on the vegetation fire, estimated at 3.5 acres and 50% contained.
Evacuation Order SDC-0427 has been downgraded to an Evacuation Warning. Evacuation Warning SDC-0428 has been lifted.
Residents are encouraged to stay alert for updates.
6/8/26 at 11a.m.: There is a brushfire on Airport Road, west of Benet Hill Road. Fire resources are on the scene. For safety, OPD is working on evacuating nearby residences near the Airport and the Prince of Peace Abbey. Zone 0427 is being evacuated at this time. #Oceanside

Road closure Westbound 76 at Old River due to an accident for the next 2-4 hours. Please avoid the area if possible.
Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.: A half-acre brushfire broke out at the City's El Corazon property at about 5:00 p.m. Forward progress is stopped. The Oceanside Fire Department has it 100% contained. You may see smoke in the air as they completely distinguish it.
