market is up
vibes are up
web3 sentiment overall is up
probably the best time to launch what weβve been cooking since the beginning of this year
but before we do that I wanna share our journey so far
What you might not know is that Iβve been a gambling addict since I was 13. Growing up in Bucharest, there werenβt many ways for a kid to earn cash, so it became more than just a game for me.
the vision began 2 years ago
even if the market was oriented toward gambling, I wanted to build something different that brings real value to the world. So we started working on a product, a place where all these different NFT collections can meet and have fun in a competitive environment.
You might ask why? well, I love connecting people, this is one of the few things that brings me joy in life. That's what I did in my previous start-ups so why not do it now since I already have experience with it?
Me and two friends got to work, making art and a basic version of our project, along with a detailed plan. That's how Lunatic Clubhouse was born.
Six months in, we're minting, with around 60k $ raised. We put half in UST and half in LUNA.
While minting the chain exploded and just like that our funding was gone. Now what?
One of the founders left.
Worked with the other co-founder on obtaining a grant that will help us move our project to a new blockchain aka
@onPolygon_ .
We kept the same vision and mission of the product, to get together multiple communities under the same rooftop and build experiences that will connect each one of them to the other.
That's how
@Arkadia_Park came to life.
Jumping to the beginning of this year, we decide to go forward with our plan of burning the old NFTs for the Arkadians 1 to 1 and mint the rest of the supply until 1000 NFTs in order to raise the last needed funds.
The mint flopped. The price was too high, and we messed up the launch.
My co-founder gave up after that. I don't blame him. It seemed impossible to achieve what we wanted.
One month vanished just trying to sell out and after continous pushes we managed to do that.
So, where did that leave us? Barely any funds left, and a big dream that needed a lot more.
Cut, innovate, repeat.
From a team of 40, hard decisions sliced us down to 12.
Had to sacrifice a really important relationship to focus on building.
Went deep into reading game theory & practice leadership.
Itβs taken two years, but weβre nearly there. What used to be just a dream is turning into something real.
We tackle real issues, knowing that addressing tribalism in new ecosystems spurs growth.
Our team believes weβre making something special. We think our product is going to take web3 to the next level due to the relationships it can build and opportunities that can arise from it. We made sure our supporters will be as rewarded as they can.
Two new massive products are launching this month.
A fully on-chain PvP Idle Game that plays a massive role in the lore of Arkadia and a MMORPG in which 10 partner collection will be able to compete against each other in multiple fun attractions.
Weβve built everything from the ground upβimmersive experiences, easy process to introduce new in-game characters/IPs, leaderboards, wagering, game mechanics, tokens, items and so many more.
I'll never be able to thank our team enough for the trust and resilience they showed, not missing one weekly meeting.
The foundation we needed is here.
People said we couldnβt do it, but weβre about to prove them wrong. With this launch we'll become a huge name in web3 because there's no other product like Arkadia Park. We've been through the toughest times and kept going.
Park's gates are set to finally open...
