My 1st happy post in a while:
Prayers I’ve been getting are working. I remain in awe of the power of prayer. The bigger issues involving my family and changes there are working themselves out.
It doesn’t hurt that the art business is also booming. I’m exhausted.
God is good.

I just found out that not one, but two of the married couples in my wife’s family have “opened” their marriages and are swinging.
I just want to know why people don’t just skip the envious heartbreak and get a divorce. That’s the only place it ever goes.

Son had another seizure this morning.
His convulsions usually last more than 5 minutes. If our emergency med doesn’t stop it, the EMTs have to come and give him a different one, necessitating the ER for observation.
It’s been a long, difficult day today.

Brother has lawyer debt.
I offer to help him make extra money on his off days. Today is day 1.
He doesn’t show up or even text me.
I text him at 1:00pm, says he’s depressed and still in bed, but I suspect he’s hungover.
Do I tell him to get bent or give him another shot?

Prayer request:
For my brother. His 5-yr ex is now trying to get full custody of their 7yo only to spite him. She is a cunning, vicious, subversive, and otherwise horrible human being. All he wants is 50/50 as it has been for her whole life.
Any spare prayers are appreciated.

Thank you, Jesus.
I made it through my first big change challenge today, and it was not only a success, but a bearable success. Even enjoyable for portions of it.
Only thing left to do is continue doing it every day for the foreseeable future.
