All investment risk is not sloppiness, but all sloppiness is risk. Even if it’s only your money, it’s a bad habit to not follow processes and systems. #tweetingtomyself

Text I got last night. This business is wild. Yes, I’m going. They say you should always try to be in the right rooms, looks like today maybe it’s the right car. We’ll see.

Being mindful of privacy and security: You create an LLC without your name in it. You have a registered agent. You use a PO Box. Then title records a deed with your personal residence as the grantee address.

Last night, at a monthly city planning meeting and a shopping center wants to put up a demising wall to split a space. With a rookie mistake, angers the real estate gods by the owner’s rep saying just an “innocuous” request. Committee immediately moves to table vote so they can figure out how to make center put up more trees 🌳 in the parking lot.

#retwit book club exchange
This book is apparently rare/expensive, and so I'll use it in my quest for 10k followers: If anyone from ReTwit would like me to send this to you for free, just like and repost this tweet, and I'll have Grok pick a winner. If no one participates, I'll just give it to @_apryor You also have to promise to pass it along to someone else on ReTwit in a similar fashion when you are done.

Tis the season to tighten up next year’s budget. 1 phone call to downgrade a SAAS (QBO) yesterday resulted in a $175 monthly cost reduction—w/o downgrading level.
Years ago I learned from an employee that virtually every SAAS is heavily negotiable. It changed everything for me and I’ve not paid full price for a software in years. I was told to tell them the following: 1) my budget is (___1/3 to 1/2 of list___) 2) I am not the sole decision maker, I’m just gathering the options in a spreadsheet for the decision maker. 3) we are making a decision today or this week. 4) we do not have a budget for implementation or onboarding fees And it works. I almost always get 50% off, yes even the big ones. Today an hour of work saved me $3,000 and $2,000 a year. I need to give myself a raise.
