The
$OIL community has been hit hard by @Johndesohn69 the dev who held ~25% of the supply, has rugged the project. What started as a strong launch with massive trending momentum, community growth, and real belief has been wiped out in minutes. He claimed it was a “hack,” but the evidence points clearly to a deliberate rug pull, draining liquidity and abandoning ship.
We're shocked, disappointed, and genuinely sorry to everyone affected — many of us, including heavy holders, got burned badly. Trust in this space gets broken too often by bad actors chasing quick pennies instead of building something that could’ve been worth millions long-term. The reputational damage and the HODL spirit we were fostering? It's taken a serious hit.
No one saw this coming, but the facts are undeniable. There will be consequences for those responsible. Money can come back in crypto, but broken trust is harder to rebuild. Stay safe out there — always DYOR, watch for red flags like large dev wallets, and remember: no crying in the casino, but we feel this one.
We appreciate the degens who believed in
$OIL.
