My little girl all grown up at her Prom last week and I’m thankful that I’m here to see this moment. 9.5 years ago Faron was only 7 years old and I was told that I had secondary/metastatic breast cancer. I didn’t know if I’d be alive to see her finish Primary School let alone Secondary School… So it was an emotional day to be able to see our beautiful daughter go to her Prom. And best friends from 2.5 years old at nursery, it was lovely to see Faron & Lily go to prom together and have a great night 🥂🍾🎉 #lucky #secondarybreastcancer #metastaticbreastcancer

Earlier today, children from @Richmond_HT and Westwood Academy were invited to meet #Oldham’s new Mayor for the very first time in his parlour. During their visit, pupils had the opportunity to ask questions to Cllr @ChauhanZahid about his new role, the borough and loads more!

On Friday, we bid a fond farewell to our Year 13s. Mr Higgins, Headteacher, read the historic 'Charge', an entrusted duty which has been read to all students leaving Blue Coat on their final day for many decades, topped off with a visit from Mr Whippy! 🍦 #WeAreBlue
