#LiveNow: Because of the Akii Bua Stadium project, we were able to secure the construction of over 18 kilometers of roads. One of the planned roads will start from Corner Gapco, pass through Amazon, Vintage and the Hospital, and end at Corner Works. We shall stop there because government plans to construct another road from that point to Corner Aloi. Another road will run from Ireda Chamba, through Ireda Primary School, and connect to Akii Bua Stadium. A third road will start from Lango Bookshop along Obote Avenue, pass through VH Public School, and link to Akii Bua Stadium. In addition, due to the Akii Bua Stadium construction, we have signed an MoU with Lira University for the development of a training ground worth 13 billion shillings. This facility will support the training of players who will come to play at Akii Bua Stadium during AFCON. - HW Sam Atul, Lira City Mayor, also NRM candidate for Lira City Mayor. #VOLUpdates #UnityFmLira #943QfmLira

#LiveNow: #JointCampaign: We have run our campaign in Lira City with love and humility. Our strategy has remained the same—to move together with the rest of the country. We have seen people come here telling us that the government does not care about us, yet behind our backs they go to our party President, receive money, and share it among themselves. Let us vote wisely for the development of our City — Sam Atul, Lira City Mayor and NRM candidate for the same position #VOLUpdates #UnityFm #943QfmLira

#LiveNow: On Thursday, we shall be voting for the Mayor, and I appeal to all of you to turn up and vote just as you did last time. Please vote for God-fearing leaders who do not abuse others or use bad language. In that regard, I urge you to vote for HW Sam Atul. Development comes from the government and we can only achieve it by electing leaders with connections in the government. - Dr. @JaneRuth_Aceng, Lira City WMP, also Health Minister 📷 @OletMo #VOLUpdates #UnityFM #943QfmLira

#LiveNow: #JoinTalkShow: I want to thank the people of Lira City and the entire Lango sub-region for voting me back to Parliament. I am also happy that you overwhelmingly voted for the President. Out of the 139,000 registered voters, about 64,000 turned up to vote. I am glad that, out of these, I garnered over 38,900 votes, while my friend received about 27,000 votes. The difference was approximately 11,900 votes. - Dr. @JaneRuth_Aceng, Lira WMP, also Minister of Health #VOLUpdates #UnityFM @943qfmlira

#LiveNow: A total of 27,000 votes were ticked in favor of @JaneRuth_Aceng (Lira City WMP, also Health Minister). I know a soldier who told me he personally ticked up to 2,000 ballots in her favor. I also received a call from someone in Odokomit who told me he ticked 2,700 ballots. Another call came from Ngetta, where I was told 3,010 ballots were ticked. Yet another call came from Boke, where 2,010 ballots were ticked—all in favor of Dr. Aceng Jane. - @BettyAmongiMP, Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development, also former candidate for Lira City Woman MP Host: @CalvinOtimD 📷 @OletMo #VOLUpdates
