Written by award-winning Black women sex educators from the UK and the United States, these books are empowering manifestos that centres Black women's pleasure. Both author's grew up in conservative Christian families where sex education was limited, especially in regard to female pleasure. This led the authors to embark on a discovery to reclaim sexual agency, prioritise women's sexual health and explore female desire. The books also break down societal and cultural barriers women face, as well as addressing purity culture and shame.
