The final rules announced today ban all uses of trichloroethylene (TCE), all consumer uses and many commercial uses of perchloroethylene (PCE), and require worker protections for all remaining PCE uses under TSCA. 🔗spgv.io/6012BVw

From tents to snow boots, rain jackets to camping blankets, many of the fabric items we rely on to keep us dry and warm are treated with PFAS. Under a new #PFAS law, fabric treatments made with forever chemicals will no longer be sold in Minnesota.

Is #PFAS underfoot? Some carpet and rugs are made using PFAS chemicals. But as one of 11 product categories that will soon be impacted by Minnesota PFAS regulations, carpets and rugs in Minnesota stores will no longer be manufactured with forever chemicals starting in January.

When we think of forever chemicals, most of us don’t think about the couches we sit on each day. But many are being made with PFAS. Upholstered furniture like sofas, chairs, and even mattresses are part of the third category of items that soon must be made without PFAS in MN.
