The Zcash Contributors Workshop wrapped up today! We wrapped things up with sessions focused on contributing to the @Zcash ecosystem. @theKroyX shared opportunities for designers, while @OmegaOnChain highlighted ways creators can get involved and contribute. Also, shoutout to the guy who got timed out twice during a 3-day workshop on Discord for trying to tag the facilitators to say "thank you." 😭😂 (Yes, that was me.) Overall, the workshop has been insightful, and I'm looking forward to what's next and finding ways to contribute to the ecosystem. privacy, though necessary, will always be a choice, and that's what @Zcash offers. the transactions Arkham's research team claims to have tracked are from transparent transactions. every dollar of the $420 billion @arkham tracked came from transparent addresses. the part of Zcash that works exactly like most blockchains, fully public, fully visible, zero privacy features engaged. their own article admits that shielded transactions "cannot be tracked" and appear simply as "SHIELDED" in their system. they didn't demystify Zcash, they simply tracked addresses not using the tek's full potential. here's what most people don't know. SuperteamNG turns 3 in a few days. It’s been an incredible journey building what is arguably Solana’s most active global community; from a small local collective to an ecosystem spread across the country, producing founders, developers, creators, and global talent.
