Hello! This page was my response to Lockdown 1. I still deliver online training & the best way to find me is via LinkedIn - just follow the link above.
I'm fed up hearing that I have to fit into a box to be successful.
I don't & neither do the people on my courses.
If you're looking for online learning that treats you as an individual click here onlivelearning.co.uk/
If you prefer something more box-like, keep scrolling. 🙂
Just before 6pm Sedbergh Wildfire team along with a number of crews, specialist teams and officers from across the county responded to an incident on Cartmel Fell.
The A590 was closed for a period of time for safety concerns.

I've done more of this in 2020 - but it isn't easy!
I had to be strict & force myself to take time off & not fill it with other things to do...
It's ok to start small - take 1 minute today to just sit and look at something beautiful.

Just a reminder to join us for the HR Webinar at 2pm today. Lots to discuss including the latest on HR-related Covid issues. If you've not received an email invitation please contact Denise - denisei@nwemployers.org.uk
I hate flying, but those safety announcements have some useful tips for everyday life, especially right now.

What's the best/ worst career advice you've ever been given?🤔
There's more to building you profile than "dress for the job you want" - in Friday's online workshop I'll show you how to build your personal brand and understand how we can influence the way other people see us.
The phrase "reach out" (unless it's being sung by The Four Tops) is one of my pet hates.
I don't know why I hate it, I just do.
Does it bother you? Or is there a different 'management speak' phrase that irks you? 🤔🙂

I've delivered so many sessions over the years about how to deal with change and the practical steps we can take to help ourselves. Over the past week or so I've had to take my own advice - not always a comfortable thing to do...
Denise: "This is the 3rd one of this series I've been on and they have been excellent."
Caldew Glass: "The interactive Adobe platform worked well and the courses were good fun, great value and very informative."

The £££millions we've paid out in DISCRETIONARY GRANTS are already making a difference:
"Thank you isn't nearly enough. It will make a colossal difference to us as we continue our fight to pivot our business and keep building."
Beth Pipe, @OnLiveLearning Grange-over-Sands
During my career I've worked in a Category B men's prison, delivered training to some fabulous but feisty lorry drivers, and held my own with barristers and personal injury lawyers.
I am well used to dealing with people who push my buttons
Join my seminar this Friday & I'll let you into all my secrets about how to handle the "I think you'll find..." brigade & the "Can't, shan't and you can't make me" posse.
You won't be on camera so please feel free to attend in your PJs.
