Onefinity Validator Testnet & Genesis Staking Update We’re excited to share important updates about the Validator Testnet, Genesis Staking, and how you can maximize your rewards: Validator Testnet Availability • The Validator Testnet will be available starting January 2025. • Running a node on the testnet can qualify you for an extra 15% APR as an airdrop, boosting your rewards to a total of 30% APR. Genesis Staking Updates • Access Requirements: • The Genesis staking button will only be accessible to individuals we meet with in a call beforehand. • A minimum of 5 NFT Validators is required to be accepted. • Node Requirements for Mainnet: • At launch, anyone can run a node on the Onefinity mainnet if they have an NFT and 3,000 ONE. We are committed to delivering the best experience possible for our users and developers, which is why we’ve decided to postpone the OneFinity Mainnet launch to August/September of next year. The Sovereign Chain SDK continues to receive critical updates, and the revised timeline will enable us to incorporate the latest developments, deliver a better product, and ensure stronger security guarantees as a consequence of the full-scope audit that will be conducted by MultiversX starting with the next month. Once these milestones are achieved, we will have the final version ready for the Mainnet launch. Towards the latter part of January, 2025, a Testnet event for OneFinity validators will run, details regarding this will be available to all in the community in the coming weeks.
