By agreement with Borussia Dortmund, Reyna played 45 minutes against Germany and Ghana. Against Bremen, he played an additional 30 minutes.

Already in his teens, he was seen as Marco Reus' successor. Before physical problems slowed him down.
According to Sebastian Kehl, Reyna's recent good performances were in the offing. And he refers to the good exchange with the US national team.

The bright side to all of this is that this statement clearly proves not only Gregg’s tactical inflexibility (how can you tell a top attacking third player they will have a limited role before knowing in game situations?) and general lack of correct personnel decisions.

Morocco’s coach was appointed just 3 months ahead of the World Cup. He brought back key players like Ziyech that had a falling out with the prior coach because of “attitude”.
Coaches do not need several cycles to build a culture- that just can’t be an argument to keep Gregg.

Obviously players need to show up 100% in practice, no excuses there. But it’s also on the coach to manage players’ egos and form a team. As more of our guys play in top leagues for top clubs, egos will only get bigger. Need a coach to manage that.

Always love Halfspaces ratings but respectfully disagree. This wasn’t a hard group to get out of and our player pool is easily the most talented we’ve had.
We should hold our coach to a higher standard & hold him accountable - that is the only way US soccer continues to improve.

Our midfield has been the standout this World Cup. McKennie was the key to unlock Iran in the first half today. Musah the key in transitioning from defense to offense and Adams is easily our most consistent player. The clean up guy in the midfield. MMA 🔑🇺🇸
