Not only does learning how to swim allow people to enjoy the water but it also saves lives! SWIMTAYKA is a charity whose mission is to provide free swimming lessons and drowning prevention education to underprivileged children, since most deaths by drowning are among those younger than 25 years old. Their aim is for all children be able to grow up showing a sense of responsibility around water but also to understand how their rivers, lakes and oceans are sources of life!

Their organisation is based in the UK but they also operate in many countries including Brazil, Peru, Jamaica, Mozambique, Uganda, Indonesia and Vietnam! So far their 25 projects have helped provide lessons and education to over 11,000 children. SwimTayka's approach aims to help children not only learn new skills but also gain confidence! Your donation will help support activities ranging from providing swimming equipment to communities, to sending volunteer swimming instructors to where they are most needed, with a goal to provide lessons to all children for free!
