Made an arcade machine for the indie game Manafinder 2 in my world. It just plays the trailer (for now). I also eat a couple of special cookies I made all thanks to C# and Unity 6 freedom we get at Somnium Space. Check it out.

Man, I wish they went straight ti the sequel instead of the whole remake. First game was an amazing experience. Oh well...
Wanderer 2 has been cancelled, and Wanderer 1 is ending development.
Per Discord, Mighty Eyes says the first game performed well on console but struggled on mobile.
The studio is now "figuring out what's next."

I get why VR studios thing jumping to flat is a life-line.
The addressable audience is 50x larger.... but the number of competing titles is also ~50x larger.
So if you didn't build a sustainable customer/fan base in one context, why would you expect to now?

If you only do gaming with VR then yeah, it looks like it's dead but social VR is very much alive and really powerful in that regard. After Meta's "legendary misadventure" some people still think their metaverse is it and that couldn't be further from the truth.
