Every challenge is an opportunity. It's not easy to take a large notch out of the footprint of a home on a compact lot, but we found it gave the rare opportunity to create an inset wood deck off of the living and dining rooms and saved some trees! #SilhouetteHouseYYJ

Sometimes work has to be phased for cost control, and green roofs have to be postponed. It's so nice to see when those final touches get installed, even if it is a few years later. Here is the green roof at Third Chapter House throughout a few seasons.
