Five #TTRPG characters I've played
Note: Most I have played as NPCs that originated from character stat blocks.
1. A High Elf wizard (Abjurer) who loved magic and magic items, so he started adventuring to catalog new enchantments and create magic items. He was heir to be a king
Is there an alternative for online resources for (online) 5e campaigns?
Preferably one that does character sheets automatically, and the DM should have access to these characters.
Homebrew compatibility is not necessary, but would be handy.

I want to cancel my DnD Beyond subscription in the wake of the new OGL stuff, but not all my players know how to do stuff manually.
We already use a free VTT (with dice rolling) and I made my own initiative tracker, so those are not worries.

OGL "2.0's" FAQ was leaked to a handful of creators yesterday. In it, they lie about 1.1 being a draft, and hide doubling down on bad choices with a couple partial concessions.
1.0a is the ONLY way forward. It doesn't matter what they give up in any of these "drafts".

People are always like you should reach out for help. But when you do, people often use it against you. Being like oh you're only doing it for attention. People twist it into a bad thing and use it as an excuse to attack someone they happen to not like. And that's messed up.
Before I go to bed, I wanted to say this. I love the art community deeply. When AI artists steal/co-opt art from us I don’t just see art, I see people, mentors and friends. I don’t expect you to understand.

In an ideal world, I shouldn't be working. Cause my health is deteriorating fast. I'm basically sacrificing my lifespan to make money. Just so I can improve my quality of life and not die. If I didn't work, I would have died awhile ago. It's not easy being disabled like me.
Inaccessibility is not just a one-time thing that blocks a disabled person.
It is a continuing harm that excludes, excludes again and then excludes some more.
It is a “Disabled People Keep Out” sign.
All of it.
I'm disabled and most of my humor is based on it. I play a lot of games with peopleI'm close with.
When meeting new people, I'm next to silent because I have a hard time talking. I'm also good at faking an entire personality at work.
To add on to this...
If the conversation comes to music, I hide the language of the music I like to listen to.
I listen to a lot of Japanese rock and pop music - and don't want people to assume I'm a weeb just for liking the music.
OH MY GOD.
For those who aren't watching, Chris Rock made an ableist joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's alopecia. Will Smith went up on stage and hit him. The #Oscars cut off the sound. Will Smith was yelling at Chris Rock from his seat.

Somebody please tell me why I have to go to a doctor so they can look at my missing foot and go "Yep, you're disabled"
I get certain applications need proof of disability, but I have an easily visible physical disability. It's not hard to miss.
It’s time for once and for all acknowledge that fixers are essential workers for western media outlets. Covering conflicts wouldn’t be possible without them. The precarious work conditions and no bylines for them should end ASAP
This is the Ukrainian member of the @FoxNews crew. She was killed today alongside their cameraman.
Fox News doesn’t even mention her in their report.

ALT “I called the rehabilitation service center and was told that people who were unable to move by themselves needed to call and register so that they are on the list of people who need help with mobility,” she said. “They told me to call the next day, that they would tell me which documents we needed. Then they told me that they can come to my apartment and help me clean but they did not offer to take my daughter out. I don't know what to say about this,” she said.
Klepets said that families of people with disabilities are finding themselves trapped in Kyiv.

“Yesterday, there were evacuations, so there was a chance to get away. There were trains, the local transport was running fee of charge, the trains were free, but you had to come to the railway station on your own and I cannot leave my mother,” she said.
ALT “My mother is 82 years old. She cannot walk on her own and there is no way to get her down, because we're on the seventh floor,” she told CNN on Saturday.
Klepets’ older daughter, Aryna, is 25 years old and has autism. She was in a state of shock, unable to move.
“She couldn’t go down the stairs. She wouldn’t be able to stay in the shelter,” Klepets said.
Aryna doesn’t understand what is going on, Klepets said. She keeps asking her mother whether or not there will be any more shaking.
I made these and they turned out way better than I expected.
Unfortunately there's air bubbles around the edges so there's small pockets where there was just no resin, but all in all they look amazing.

Greg Abbot has officially directed Family and Protective Services to begin investigating all trans children in Texas and prosecuting their parents as child abusers.
He has also instructed all teachers, doctors, and caregivers to begin reporting any trans students they see.
Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Wisdom, and Charisma are all pretty low for me.
Intelligence may be my highest stat but that doesn't mean I'm smart.
Stop telling disabled people that are crowdfunding to just get a job!!
Employers discriminate HEAVILY against disabled people. First off, they rarely ever give us the accomodations we need to be able to work well. Second, they'll find any reasons to fire us.
