Yeah so tonight I passed out and went to the ER from extreme dehydration. Looks like I’m fine! Hopefully I’m out soon enough. But i have a trillion notifications, and I ain’t reading all that.

Cardinals fan in an interview: “I plan on working very hard, climbing the ladder, and my 5 year plan is to be the CEO.” Interviewer: “what if we can offer you that in 3 months instead?” Cardinals fan: “Absolutely not! That would interrupt my plan of becoming CEO in 5 years!”

Many of you have made it very clear, that even if the Cardinals are kicking ass and playing great and in a strong playoff position 6 weeks from now, we need to trade May in hopes of being in the exact same position years from now. Got it. Turning off replies now.
I find it very strange that under the scenario of the Cardinals being a clear playoff team at the trade deadline, it’s still the right thing to do to trade Dustin May.

We have to trade him, you see, so that one day we may be a clear playoff team. A boat is a boat. But the box could be anything, even a boat.

It is intriguing to see the matchup of “guys shoved into CF when actual awesome CF were available”

I realllllly don’t want to wade into the politics of this in any way - I just want to point out that MLB took a stand against Bible versus on hats when it was Giants middle relievers, and not Clayton Kershaw.

Perhaps MLB did issue some sort of warning to him also - but a 30 second google search, and my deteriorating memory, found nothing.

I have extreme fascination with Byron Buxton taking the Paul Molitor route to the Hall of Fame. Turn 30 and then suddenly stay on the field.

You must admire a person’s ability to be scummy and not have enough guilt or remorse to have it affect them at all.
Jarren Duran after calling a fan a f*ggot in 2024: .309 AVG 11 HR 23 RBI in 44 games Pete Crow-Armstrong after telling a women to suck his d*ck: .318 AVG 8 HR 13 RBI in 26 games I’m seeing a pattern here😭

Just to be clear, I don’t think graphics or announcers, or random fans mentioning a no-hitter will jinx it in any way. Not in the very slightest. I also don’t believe a fat guy is going to go down a billion chimneys every Xmas, but I still celebrate the hell out of it.

That there are people out there that feel the need to loudly eschew this in the name of *not* believing an 8 year old mentioning a no-hitter in Wyoming will make it end in St. Louis - bully for you! Gosh. We all thought it was a REAL THING! You must be VERY SMART!

Dear lord, you’re the obnoxious teenager who bought tickets to the haunted house so you could loudly yell that it’s all fake as some service announcement to all of us that actually thought there might really be zombies with chainsaws. Golly gee thanks mister!

The graphic was up for the perfect game. He walked a guy. No graphic. Groundout. No-hitter graphic. Hit. Maybe don’t tempt the baseball gods. We’re all watching the game. We’re baseball fans. We’re aware of what’s going on.
